The trial has not been approved yet...unless you know something the rest of us don't? To my knowledge it is still on "hold" with approval "pending". Advanced Cell Tech filed the IND on Nov 19th. On Jan 9th we were told "The FDA did not provide specifics about the clinical hold but indicated that it would do so in a follow-up letter expected within a few weeks".... that was the last we heard! We have never even been told what the FDA wants in order to release the hold. Who knows? Maybe Advanced Cell Tech is still waiting for that letter!!! It would not surprise me! Considering the amount of time it takes for the FDA to make simple decisions... I'm guessing the trial will be on "hold" for at least another month, and probably longer!
