I'm all for a huge global reduction in fossil fuel usage, but seriously question whether we are addressing the practicalities of the situation. If, as is expected, some level of climate change is inevitable, why are we not spending our resources relocating to a more stable area?

The strength of the human race has previously been in its ability to adapt, but it seems that we have become tied to property and this is blinding us from the obvious troubles and solutions ahead.

It's funny how we hear so much about changing the way we all do things, and yet, I don't see my electric company changing. When will we see a change that makes it to our front door? Will we be using alternate fuels soon? I would like to see sugar or corn or wind powering my home soon.
