		<description>Are you seriously arguing that selling pizza and chocolate milk in the cafeteria is giving kids diabetes? I&#039;d point the finger at the 29% of districts that reduced athletics in the last 10 years, but that&#039;s just me.

Also, the nation’s school boards did not &#039;decry national nutritional standards for what can be served to students in school&#039;. As the testimony repeatedly points out, there&#039;s already national nutritional standards - VOLUNTARY ones. It&#039;s the mandatory vs. voluntary question that&#039;s the sticking point. Considering the experience with NCLB, it&#039;s kind of odd to hear someone come out in FAVOR of federal mandates.</description>
