<description>As a founding member of &quot;ACA&quot; (http://www.aca-dz.org/), the Algerian Competencies Association, I was recently part of the April 26-29 Biotechnology Conference Biotech World 2010 under the auspices of the University of Oran, Algeria and of the &quot;DGRSDT&quot; (http://www.dgrsdt-dz.org/)&quot;Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique et du Développement Technique&quot;.

In 2007, as a response to the now-obsolete &quot;brain-drain&quot; myth, I launched the &quot;Algerian without borders&quot; concept.

As a result of its painful history and recently disrupted evolution, Algeria has a significant scientific diaspora whose members want to be recognized as individuals and as contributors of a global entity.

I have been involved in partial database attempts. DGRSDT is searching for a global scientists database tool.

It looks like that &quot;Scientists without Borders&quot; is the model and the environment we need to fulfill our pressing goals.

Please send me some info soon, i.e. before 5/12/2010 - date of the forthcoming significant DGRSTD conference.

Thanks a lot.
