		<description>I started a company with another engineer and successfully sold it, and that was fun.  But for me, it’s a lot more fun inventing for technology for big markets.  Once I finish an invention, which takes over a year (or 30), there is no way for me to profit at 66 except to create a master licensing situation, which is just as likely to end in foreign hands as in US.  There should be a way for professionals inventing in big markets to quickly vet an idea and get it going.  But the system is so bogged down with forums and organizations inventors like myself can’t use, we are hemmed in.  So while the article says we need a way to jump start ideas and get going, there is no institution or process out there or suggested that can really work with the inventor not interested in starting up and managing a venture to systematically vet their work, form management, and fund the startup quickly, and license the IP fairly from the inventor, especially in the mechanical engineering area where I work.  Consequently, preferring to invent rather than market and form companies, we tend to keep our work secret, and society loses.  Because vetting and advocacy is required to start things going, listing services do not work.

But, I have the following inventions ready, what’s your poison: Offshore wind turbine with fast low cost tension leg offshore deployment (catamaran) system and with low cost 3 MW turbine with no mass manufacturing bottlenecks (present master licensing marketing effort); bulk feed biomass pressurized gasifier through pressurized candle filter to super critical steam generation to 35% electrical efficiency (usual is 23%); a new airliner design platform to reach 250 PMPG (up to 3 times current best practice), low cost elevated high-speed electric inter-city transit standard gage track system for application along interstate highways, track could be mass-installed for as low as $3 million/mile @ 100,000 lb loads, present light rail is $25-40 million a mile; high-streamlined EV with 2 or 3 speed manual transmission electric shift; heavy haul front drive bullet truck with and 20% more load and 1/2 diesel fuel use.
