Hi! I was wondering if there is technology to isolate a diploid germ cell. Then perform somatic nuclear transfer into the diploid germ cells. Induce the germ cells to undergo meiosis to produce eggs. Infertile patients caused by bone marrow transplant or chemotherapy/radiation therapy can have a chance to have their own genetic children. It would be like a regular somatic nuclear transfer, except you transfer nucleus into a germ cells before they undergo meiosis. There wouldn't be any ethical issue involved.

I heard there is such a technology. Do you know what the name of that technique or technology. I want to do a research on it. Thanks.
